Project Quotes and Payments

Project Quotes

After we’ve discussed your project, I’ll provide a written quote that clearly outlines deliverables, timelines and estimated fees.

In the interest of transparency, I ask that you review and approve the quote before any work begins.

Unless otherwise noted, quotes include research, meetings, a completed first draft and up to two rounds of editing. Additional edits beyond that can be billed hourly if needed. You won’t be billed for local travel time or quick check-in calls.

Quotes do not include taxes or out-of-pocket expenses (e.g., courier fees or specialized services) but I’ll always confirm with you before incurring any additional costs.

If the size or scope of a project shifts during production, small changes can often be absorbed. For major adjustments, we’ll revisit and update the quote together so there are no surprises.

Payment Terms

For new projects, a deposit of one-quarter of the total quote is required before work begins. This deposit will be applied to your final invoice.

  • Short-term projects (45 days or less) are invoiced upon completion.

  • Longer-term projects are invoiced monthly based on work completed, or on other mutually agreed-upon terms.

If you need ongoing support, a retainer arrangement may be a more cost-effective option. I’d be happy to discuss what that could look like for you.

Each invoice will include a clear summary of the work completed during that billing period, so you always know exactly what you’re paying for.
